The Best Things About Having a Boyfriend

Romantic-couple-hugs-kiss

The Best Things About Having a Boyfriend

1. No more fumbley, weird “I don’t even know what you like” first-time sex. That’s not to say that boyfriend sex is fool-proof but your odds of having someone accidentally pull your hair because their stupid elbow was on it go down by a lot.

2. He can not reply to your text and you won’t go into a panic attack shame spiral wondering if he’s ghosting. You can say “he’s probably just busy” and know for a fact that yes, that is why. It’s like having an oxygen tank at all times.

3. You always have someone to zip up the back of your dress so you don’t have to do that weird acrobatic arm thing. Even if it is probably good for your deltoids or something. It still blows.

4. You always have someone to split food with for those days when you feel like ordering like a monster but then remember you have a normal human stomach. And then on days when you somehow have a superhuman stomach…

5. You have twice the food always. Oh what’s that? You’re not hungry? Guess who is? It’s me!

6. No more Tinder dates to run screaming from while wearing shoes that are really hard to run in. Plus, no after-work drink dates means you can actually get through the work week without a hangover from hell. Hello, productivity and a general lack of nausea.

7. You can do any embarrassing thing on the planet and he will still think sun shines out of your butt. Which it honestly could. You don’t know. You can’t see down there.

8. You finally at long last have someone to suffer through family dinners with. There is no better feeling than kicking your boyfriend under the table when your grandad straight up starts eating that huge bowl of gravy with his own spoon.

9. You get to double date with your friends aka you get to spy on you friends’ boyfriends to make sure they’re good enough. And run over the data you have learned with your boyfriend to make sure you didn’t miss any #facts.

10. There will always be someone to like your selfies. You can now post freely without fear of Zero Likes.

11. You automatically have approximately 40 percent more space in your brain because it’s not begrudgingly focused on meeting The One. Obviously this much of your brain isn’t focused on that but jesus christ, sometimes it feels like it’s supposed to be and it’s exhausting.

12. Valentine’s Day is no longer a day of chalky candy-filled dread. It might be a day of excited joy or a day when you both do the same things you always do, but it holds no power over you any more, so suck it, VDay.

13. All the time you used to spend online dating can now be spent on doing things that make your soul happy. Instead of killing it with a machete because jesus christ, one of these has to be good, right? (Not really).

14. Couples costumes! I’d be lying to you if I didn’t say I’ve had a lot of ~*iDeAs*~ about this lately, so FYI, next person I date: I have a whole list of potential couples costumes. We’re set for three years, minimum.

How to Monitor Teens Online and Texting Activity to Keep Them Safe

TeenSafe

How to Monitor Your Kid’s iPhone or Android Text Messages

Here’s some exciting news for parents looking to monitor their child’s text message activity. Child safety website TeenSafe has launched a new version that not only lets you view your child’s social network activity, but also lets you read the text messages they send and receive on their Android or iPhone.

Better still, you can even read text messages that have been DELETED on the phone!

Text message monitoring has been of huge interest in recent years. According to a Kaiser Family Foundation study, kids spend an average of 7 hours, 38 minutes a day connected to some type of electronic device that highly affect in their education. The big worry for parents is that they don’t often know what their child is doing on their phone, online, or in the real world — and their kids aren’t always forthcoming with what’s going on in their lives.

From sending friends seemingly innocent (but potentially provocative) photos, to online solicitations, sexting, or befriending some less-than-desirable characters, kids can make mistakes caused by youthful inexperience. Those actions can end up haunting a child and parent forever, but TeenSafe gives parents access and visibility into their child’s world.

TeenSafe also works on an iPhone — including iOS9. You don’t need your teen’s phone to set it up, and you can monitor the iPhone without needing to jailbreak it, which can invalidate the iPhone warranty. All you need is your child’s Apple ID and password.

The application for Android smartphone installation is slightly different, but just as easy. Just enter some basic info, accept the app on the phone, and you’re good go.

TeenSafe

Once you register with TeenSafe, the information gets downloaded to your private login page where you can read all the iPhone or Android text messages your child has sent and received. You can also view their phone call logs, phone contacts and web browsing history, see what apps they’ve installed, and monitor Instagram and WhatsApp activity. TeenSafe also uses the phone’s GPS to track its location on a map.

And nothing shows up on your child’s phone, so they won’t know about it unless you tell them.

Admittedly, it can sound a little sneaky, but as long as you are the parent or guardian of the child it’s legal. As for whether or not you should tell your child, TeenSafe goes the common sense route by explaining that the decision is up to you.

Every family is different, and when it comes to protecting your children it’s sometimes good to open a dialogue. Other times it’s better to be discreet, such as when your child has already run into some trouble and you’re now trying to prevent him or her from encountering bigger problems.

So, whether you’re giving your child a cell phone for the first time and just want to keep an eye on them, or you have a teen exposed to more than they’re ready to handle, TeenSafe could be your way to safely and anonymously observe them without being a helicopter parent.

HOW TO WORK OUT LESS AND STILL LOOK YOUNGER!

HOW TO WORK OUT LESS AND STILL LOOK YOUNGER!

fit manSteve Holman, an author, and creator of the F4X Workout Plan and the book, Old School, New Body, was the editor-in-chief of the Iron Man Magazine, a leader in the fitness magazines for many years now. He has met and worked with the most professional of gym and fitness trainers, and along with his wife, Becky, developed a workout plan that is healthy, time-saving, and can make you look a decade younger than you are. It is specifically targeted for individuals aged 35 and up (but is recommended for any age), and is guaranteed to show a difference in just a matter of days!

The book is compiled of information that has appeared in Iron Man over the last several years, and of knowledge gained from working with professional fitness trainers that have trained the best of the best, like Clint Eastwood, Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed from the Rocky movies) and Suzanne Summers. The book includes workouts, a nutrition plan, and action steps to take in order to start the process. This is an intense but time-saving and healthy way to slow down the aging process, build and shape muscle, and become healthier.

This workout program is built similarly for men and women. Steve and his wife Becky swear that men and women can, and should, work out in the same way. No need to work out separately or do different exercises.

There are 5 common mistakes to avoid if you want to slow down the aging process and achieve your dream body:

1. Stop The Diets! Stop eating those low-fat foods that keep being advertised as “healthy” for you. Your body needs fat in order to run correctly! If you’re constantly counting all those calories and eating only low fat, you cannot enjoy eating out! Worrying yourself to death will definitely not make you look younger…

2. Quit your crazy long cardio workouts! – Cardiovascular conditioning can be achieved in far less time and with less effort than those long gym classes and hours on the treadmill. In fact, running on the treadmill and other long bouts of cardio workouts can actually accelerate the aging process by increasing free radicals in your body and there are far smarter ways to exercise.

3. Stop blaming everything on your age! Studies have shown that even people in their 90s have been able to gain muscle tone in less than a month with some lifting exercises. People can change their bodies at any age, from 25 to 95! You should constantly challenge yourself because it’s the challenge and the constant work towards improvement that keeps you young! And what better challenge is there than staying fit and healthy?

FACT:
YOUR BODY CAN BE THE SAME AS IT WAS WHEN YOU WERE 30 YEARS OLD!

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT DOING EXERCISE!
THERE IS NO “RIGHT AGE” FOR DOING EXERCISE!

You CAN feel young again.

Don’t believe the Gooroo?

Check out this inspiring video below:

4. Drink More Water! Water not only hydrates you and keeps you healthy-it also helps to burns fat! Water suppresses hunger and keeps your liver and kidneys healthy. Just drinking a dozen ounces a day will drop years from your face by keeping your skin hydrated and healthy!

5. Work out LESS! Steve and Becky are not saying to stop working out. They are just saying that you should go by the old-school resistance training instead of the hours upon hours of cardio classes like spinning and kickboxing. This resistance-training program includes just four specific exercises that will have you done with your workout while others at the gym are just warming up!

With an exact exercise plan that allows you to gain control of what you want to change and improve, you can get the body of your dreams and look much younger, not to mention feel healthier, with the “Old School, New Body” program.

The motto of this program, and of these two authors, is “Make it Simple, Yet Make It Challenging”. They have seen all of those crazy fads, diets, and workout plans you can find in magazines like Cosmopolitan for women and GQ for men. The time has come to forget all of those confusing, messy, and at times conflicting messages and go for this straightforward, tested and true method that professionals have been using for years!

Steve and Becky are testimonies to their own workout plan, but if you try it and do not see a significant change, there is a money back guarantee.

Are These Foods Killing Your Brain?

brain

Are These Foods Killing Your Brain?

Are These Foods Killing Your Brain?

Did you know that Alzheimer’s is ranked as our #1 fear?

And for good reason.

As anyone over 40 knows, forgetting things and feeling less mentally sharp often becomes an unavoidable side effect of getting older.

But did you know that there are currently 3,000 food additives in the US food supply, and that could be negatively impacting your mental state?

Here are the 5 that are killing your brain:

1. MSG (monosodium glutamate) — MSG raises the amount of glutamate acid in the brain, which can cause death of nerve cells.

What’s even worse is now food manufacturers are trying to hide this ingredient with clever and innocent-sounding names; hydrolyzed protein, vegetable protein, soy protein isolate, soy protein concentrate, whey protein, and natural flavoring, spices, enzymes, autolyzed yeast extract, stock, broth and carrageenan.

Make sure to avoid this excitotoxin — it literally stimulates the brain cells until they die. One of the common sources is bouillon cubes.

2. Aspartame — Warning! This sweetener may affect your memory, and Worse…

In spite of studies that show animals fed aspartame developed seizures and brain tumors, aspartame is FDA approved and added to a lot of food and drink products.

Currently, there are 92 categories of complaints filed against aspartame with the FDA. This one is easy to avoid since it’s clearly labeled.

3. Sucralose – Another sweetener where taste just may be too good to be true.

Sucralose reduces the good gut bacteria by 50 percent, allowing your body to become toxic. This leads to damaging effects on the hippocampus, where memories are stored.

4. Diacetyl (Butter Flavoring) — Who doesn’t love a bag of popcorn?

In fact, 17.3 billion quarts are popped each year! But the home-popped variety contains the butter flavor additive diacetyl.

Diacetyl is able to cross the blood-brain barrier, a defense which prevents harmful substances from entering the brain. It causes beta-amyloid clumping which is a significant indicator of Alzheimer’s.

You won’t see diacetyl on the label, but if you see “artificial butter flavor” or “natural flavors” you should avoid it at all costs.

5. Aluminum — More than a food additive

Aluminum is a know neurotoxin. In the 1970s, autopsies revealed that people who had Alzheimer’s had a larger than normal concentration of aluminum in the brain.

Aluminum is a common food additive that can be found in baking powder and anti-caking agents. It is the most abundant metal in the the earth’s crust so it’s hard to avoid all together.

It’s in drinking water, antacids, deodorant, cans, foil, and is commonly used in cookware. Look for aluminum-free deodorants, baking powder and antacids.

PROTECTING YOUR BRAIN
The best thing you can do is try to minimize your exposure to these neurotoxins. It’s an Engineering! But what if you are already feeling less sharp mentally?

There is hope. Renowned Doctor and Nutritionist Dr. Sam Walters has assembled a breakthrough formula from the natural world that could give you back your piece of mind.

Dr. Walters has just recorded and released an exclusive video presentation.

In this presentation Dr. Walters reveals:

  • The two incredibly well spread myths that could be killing your brain
  • The 3 main causes of brain aging & a natural way to stop them
  • The #1 secret to REALLY eliminating brain fog once and for all
  • How to turn back the clock and make your brain a full 12 years younger
